Search Gmail for every missing receipt from the Inbox

You can now search your email for the receipts of every card charge that has none, from the Inbox where you work them. Open Card spend with no receipt and select Search Gmail (or Search Outlook, or Search your email when you have connected more than one mailbox): LedgerIt looks for each charge listed and attaches the receipts it finds.

Search every missing receipt in one step

Until now the search lived on one transaction's Receipts panel and on the mailbox's row in Integrations, so a month with twelve charges and no receipts meant twelve searches. The button above the list searches all of them. It searches every charge in the group, including ones searched for earlier, so a receipt that arrived since is picked up. The button reads Searching Gmail… until the last search ends.

When it finishes, one message says how many receipts were found and attached, or that none were found, and the list is read again. If some charges could not be searched, the message says how many and why. The guide to finding receipts in your mailbox covers what LedgerIt reads and keeps.

Search one charge from its row

Each charge in the group has the same search in its ⋯ menu, for the one receipt you are waiting on. On a phone, the group's buttons wrap onto their own line instead of running off the screen.

  • The Inbox guide and the mailbox guide now say where the search is.
