Invite your team
Your books no longer belong to one login. Invite your co-founder, your accountant or your investor, and decide what each of them can do.
Four roles
Every member has one role, and each role can do everything the one below it can:
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including handing ownership over |
| Admin | Changes the books and manages members |
| Editor | Changes the books |
| Viewer | Reads everything, changes nothing |
Admins and the owner change roles and remove members from Settings → Team. The owner can hand ownership to another member and stays on as an admin. Every change to the roster is kept in the audit trail.
Invitations by email
Choose Invite, enter an address and pick a role. They get an email, and once they sign in with that address they can join. Invitations wait under Waiting to join for 14 days, and you can resend or revoke one at any time.
Every set of books, one switch away
The switcher at the top of the sidebar lists every set of books you belong to, with your role in each. It is also where you answer an invitation, and where you start a new set of books. Each browser tab keeps the books it opened, so switching in one tab never sends another tab's work to the wrong books.
Fixes and improvements
- Stripe now picks up new payouts, charges and refunds after the first import. Before, only the first import was read.
- A Stripe invoice in a currency other than your books' is set aside instead of being posted at its face value. A €310.00 invoice is no longer booked as $310.00.
- Reversing a revenue recognition entry now puts that month back on its schedule, so the next close recognizes it again.
- The API accepts an
Idempotency-Keyheader on every request that creates something. A retry with the same key returns the first response instead of creating a second record. - When you do not have permission for an action, the message now says why.
